Whew. So I just had my wonderful thrilling experience on so many rollercoasters for the first time in my life with my dear soon-to-be-a-dentist friend Amira Majid at Universal Studios Singapore.
I wasn't really excited to go there at first because people kept pulling out of the trip. Originally we had about 4-5 people going together. The others couldn't make it because of money constraints
(1 SGD = RM2.79) and some I think it's because of this 'I'm lazylah' or 'Taknaklah' attitude. Come on guys, you're wasting your 20's life staying at home!( Eleh Singapore je pun lol)
But since I've renewed my passport and exchanged my RMs for SGDs AND bought my USS tickets online for RM200 (very sad, couldn't get hold of a ticket agent. Otherwise it'd be soooo much cheaper)
I sort of went 'Okay! Let's do this!'.

11.30 P.M.
Boarded the Senandung-Something train at KL Sentral.
Our tickets totalled RM 92 for the Lower Berth Adult-Superior Night Class. Mira bought the return tickets for us in the morning (THANK YOU MIRAAA!)

| I noticed that the pillow will be placed towards where the train is moving. We got a thin blanket too. |
 |
| Actually this is the otw back home pic, but I'll put it here |
The train ride.
Okay, so we passed the boarding gate, got into our coach and nicely settled in our beds. Then came the ticket master saying "Tiket~tiket~,". Got our tickets punched. Chatted a bit and headed to sleep. About one hour or so into the journey we heard 'Makan minum makan minum makan minum~'. Very funny, lol. There's a staff selling beverages and some nasi lemak and sandwiches on a trolley. I got myself a bottle of mineral water, for RM 2. Then I went to sleep. But I kept waking up every one hour/train stop. Then my Subuh alarm rang at 5.45 a.m. I got out my spray bottle and proceeded to make wudhu'. Blindly judged the kiblat using an app, prayed Subuh in a wobbly state (sit down, you'll always be swaying around in a moving train). Alhamdulillah, Subuh prayers done. Woke Mira up and I went back to sleep for another hour before we reach Woodlands at around 7 a.m.
We had two stops where we had to get out of the train (bring all of your belongings!). First was in Johor for passport processes, second was in Singapore (Woodlands it is, of course we had to get out. We reached our destination). Once in Woodlands, hurrily proceed to the immigration counter to get your passports chopped stamped, don't forget the white card on the far right corner of the room. We actually were the last two people to alight the train because there wasn't any announcement. Sad. This Singapore officer came into our coach and sort of shouted 'WAKE UP. WAKE UP.'. All the aunties and uncles in our coach were pretty surprised. They didn't know what to do too. I was like 'OKAY WE WERE UP BUT WE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ANNOUNCEMENT'. Haha. Okay that was emotional.
So we went to line-up behind some koreans. Looked like a school trip. One was quite hot, or so I thought because I was just staring at his biceps lol. He wore a sleeveless shirt, a white one. Take note guys, sleeveless shirts (WHITE IN COLOUR) makes you look hot without you even trying. But please have some sort of defined biceps.

7.30 A.M.
Alright, we're done with our passports. Heck, the queue was pretty darn long. We followed the signboards, then blindly boarded a bus in hopes to reach the Woodlands MRT station. I should've done more homework on this because the station was actually a walking distance from the train station but I wasn't sure. So we hopped onto a bus with a 'Woodlands MRT' sign. After a few minutes asked the driver where is the nearest MRT station. We actually passed the Woodlands Station and went back one station, Marsiling Station. The bus driver was kind, lol, we didn't have small changes for the bus ride so he said okay no problem it's free. Thank you anne, you da best.
Walked quite a bit in the rain, went up the stairs to an overhead bridge. People were all coming down and we're sort of blocking the way. Turns out there's an escalator going upwards on the other side of the stairs. Lol. Tourists.
Eyed on a 7-11 store and we bought our EZ-Link cards. $12 for a card, we had $7 available for use, $5 was for the card itself.

| Our MRT travel route |
Our MRT ride was PACKED FULL OF PEOPLE. Stood the whole 14-station ride on the North-South line. It was 8.00 a.m. , rush hour. People commuting to work and school etc. Then we changed lines at Dhoby Ghaut Station, the North-East line. Also no seats for both of us. Good thing it was only four stations to Harbourfront. Turns out Harbourfront station connects to a mall. VivoCity mall. We got into the mall and went to brush our teeth and wash our face. Wore a bit of makeup and we're done! Off to Sentosa Island! but before that we went up 2-3 floors(not sure?) towards Sentosa Station, then we reached a floor where we had to buy admission tickets, $4 or we could've just used the EZ-Link card but we didn't have enough credit. Or we should've just used the card and top-up later. OMG WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT. Boarded the train to Sentosa, no seats. My feet were aching a lot already. Only one station to reach USS. Crossed the sea (wau I was a bit excited) aaanndd TA-DA~! Welcome To Sentosa Island.

| We finally reached USS! |
It's The Globe!!
So this is the real thing, I felt excited! Mira went to get her ticket because she haven't bought one yet. Pretty short queue. Well, it's a weekday. Got our map and the first ride was the Transformers 4d. Got in after 5 minutes. Wore the 3d glasses. Omg that ride was awesome. Got the first row. Felt butterflies in my stomach. Felt some water sprays, also heat when the rocket came straight up our faces. There was a lunging down a building part and wauu we really went down from so high up. And the Chinese guy(kid, I think) beside me was pretty fun, we sort of had a chemistry lol.
Up next is the Human roller coaster. The ride's pretty open. Short queue again. Actually this was my first time riding a roller coaster (count the transformers 4d one out). So I was pretty scared. Then up the track we went. And down soooo fasstt. Soo much screeaaminngg. Next was the Cylon ride. This one is the suspended type. 5 times 360 degrees turn. I hadn't got any energy to scream anymore although this one was much scarier than the Human ride. After three rides we were pretty much worn out. So we had lunch. There're halal places to eat located on the map so we just chose the closest one to us. I just had a Soto Ayam because I got an ulcer on my lower gums. But hey it was only 7 dollars. Only. Yeah right, only. Damn you exchange rate.
Then the Rapid ride something. Very. Long. Queue. 45 minutes. Then our turn came and we got in the round boat thingy. I wore my raincoat but heck still soaked from top to bottom because when we went down this ramp I was at the lowest part of the boat. So don't even consider buying a poncho since you'll still get wet. And then, since we're soaked (only me actually) we went to Waterworld show. This show was awesome. Everything was on cue (pentomime style show). And again, got so wet because we sat on the soak zone bench. Then after a short rest went to pray at a small prayer room behind the Human ride. It's small but clean and smells soooo nice and there was no one else using it. I guess because it's close to Ramadhan (day after tomorrow) so not many muslims came to USS.

| otw back to Woodlands. Long queue? Again? |
6.30 P.M.
 |
| Too tired. Lazying on some grass on top of VivoCity |
So tired. Went back to VivoCity and sat on the grass outside. There were shallow water pools so I soaked my feet a bit (oh so refreshing). We actually sat for 2 hours then we went to burger king to eat dinner. Burger Kings here are halal. But always check for the halal sign. Oh one story, when we're lining up for burgers, there's this drunk chinese guy with a guinness can in his hand behind us.(Whew the alcohol smell was so strong even I felt a bit dizzy) He asked to keep his spot for him while he went to the toilet and he was already wriggling wanting to pee lol so I was like 'okay, okay, go. I'll keep your spot for you, don't worry go' but he kept drunkenly saying 'please keep this spot okay I need to go to the toilet please okay please'. Funny lol.

| Our ride back to Woodlands. We got seats! |
Back on the MRT. Reached Woodlands Station and we were kind of in a trouble. We didn't know where was the Immigration checkpoint so we asked this counter lady and she said to take a bus number 950. Okay. Got on the bus. Pretty far. And reached the checkpoint. Here was where we went the wrong way. There were two sections. One is towards the train. The second is towards the buses. We went to the bus section on the right and got our passports stamped instead of the train section. So we got pretty far down to the buses. And heck where are the trains??? Turns out we were at the wrong place. Asked the officer and he said to enter SG again. Had to U-turn back. So we ran so far and so fast my chest hurts. Got our passports stamped. At the same time we told the officers we went the wrong way. They helped us to get to the train but before that they brought us into this room to settle our passports asap. I think we could've easily passed the entry into SG counters and quickly head back to the trains but I was pretty dumbfounded. So we wasted some time in the room till 11 p.m. and were told the train gates were closed. This and that then they halfway escorted us to the trains.
So. Bloody. Damn. Far. Away.
Mira ran ahead of me. I couldn't catch up and hey it's not 11.30 yet so they shouldn't close the gates yet. But still I ran because wtf is happening. Then we reached the correct immigration counter. Okay. So sweaty. So hot. Stamp. Mira ran again. Woman, we're past the gates already have pity on fatty me panting like a dog running towards the train. Lol. Okay got on the train. Sat on our beds. Safe and sound. Long story short, I had a good sleep and woke up with aching feet and arms. Reached KL Sentral around 7 a.m.

7.00 A.M.
Phew. Mira and I said our goodbyes, she's got another outing and I head back to Shah Alam. Very tired. Very sore.
But nevertheless, it was a nice trip :)
Here are a few things related to this trip.
Hostel. Originally we planned to stay in SG for one night. But money constraints :(
Route planner. Very useful.
Cheap tickets. Very friendly. Though I didn't have any luck in getting a ticket because asked her last minute. Still, she wished me a good trip :)
Get your original price USS tickets here. Click on 'TICKETS' tab
Go here to check train schedules. Buy tickets at the counter.
A twitter person whom I contacted to get cheaper tickets but she replied late so I already bought my USS ticket. I won't link her private profile here.
When I went there it was quite humid, even for a Malaysian.
Rained in the morning, and I got a headache for the whole day. Roller coasters made it worse lol.
